Saturday night, 9/15/08, was Amber's birthday party. Amber invited two friends, and of course the rest of the family went to. We left at 4:30 pm. And headed over to the Washington county community center. We had reserved the party room, a big room with a long table and a refrigerator to store ice cream and soda in. We had a quick dinner of pizza and then had some cake and ice cream.
After dinner, we played and swam in the pool for a long time, chatting in the whirlpool, speeding down the slide, racing each other lap pool, and goofing around in the kid area. It went on like that for a while, until Amber saw a three your old boy throw up in the pool :p. Amber told the lifeguard and everyone got out fast. We stayed in the lap pool for a while.
When they finally re-opened the kid area, there was only 15 minutes left until closing time. I went on the slide two more times and then we packed up and left. It was a great night.
Amber turned 15 officially on 9/17/08 and David turned 7 the day after :)
